RedHat and ISDN4Linux - Downloads

  • Please make sure your read the documentation carefully.
  • Both HTML and SGML-versions of the documentation are included in the RPM-packages, the tgz only contains the SGML-source.
  • Alternatively you may download the RTF-, Windowshelp (chm), HTML, PDF- or Postscript-versions right here.
  • I am not responsible for the case something goes wrong.
  • If you want to use the rh-isdnconf-script as well you have to install:
    • Python (Though on RedHat this will normally already be installed, as a lot of RedHat's own tools as printtool and netcfg use it as well.)
    • newt, (in RH6.1 this is needed by anaconda, the new setup-tool, get the local copy)
  • To get dynamic resolv.conf replacement please download ipppd.tgz and follow the instructions in the README
  • The firewall-scripts were originally written by Bodo Bauer for SuSE, I adapted them for RedHat. You will need ipchains for them to work. I changed the name of the package to firewall-rh to clarify that these are for RedHat
  • ibod is a bandwidth-on-demand daemon written by Bjoern Smith, which automatizes syncPPP-channel-bundling.
  • For further information about the packages, please look into the spec-files.
